Our marketing goal is to promote the Meredith area as a vacation destination, offering a wide array of activities, lodging and restaurant options, and distinctive, quality specialty shopping. As a member of the Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce, you have the opportunity to participate in a cooperative and comprehensive marketing campaign designed to bring customers to individual businesses like yours! Because our marketing campaign is subsidized with the generous matching grant program from the State of New Hampshire, your participation in the program introduces your business to a wide audience and contributes to doubling the funds we have available, for this web site, for publishing and distributing our annual brochure and for advertising the Meredith area in highly targeted publications. The brochure grant also makes your listing in our award winning brochure cost half of what you normally pay for such exposure. Our advertisements are designed to increase phone inquiries to the Chamber's toll-free number, visits to our web site, and reader service requests. With our large print run of 225,000, the Chamber has brochures available for distribution by local merchants and lodging establishments in the Lakes Region, making the brochure a handy guide to visitors already in our area. Surveys indicate that 75% of those who receive our brochure visit the area, 60% secure lodging through the brochure, and 75% are enticed to the area by the descriptions of the distinctive shops.

The marketing campaign and the brochure also attract visits to the Meredith Chamber of Commerce web site. Many of our members report that our web site is one of their highest source of referrals. All members of the Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce are listed by category in the site, as well as in an alphabetical listing of all members. New photos and events are added regularly.

The Chamber continuously provides detailed information about Meredith area events to New Hampshire and key national media as part of our ongoing public relations campaign. To promote our members and to cater to specific interests of our visitors, the Chamber publishes the Antiqueing Guide, the Marine Guide, the Service Guide, the Professional Guide, the Around the Town Map, Group Brochure, and a Wedding Guide.
